2. Personal data we process
We may process:
- name, email address and telephone number;
- organisation or location name and location type;
- the content of messages, requests and correspondence;
- data required for quotations, agreements, invoicing and services;
- technical data such as IP address, browser, device, logs and security information;
- cookie and usage data where permitted and, where required, after consent.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to answer questions and demo requests, prepare and perform agreements, provide support and security, improve services, meet administrative and legal obligations and send permitted communications. The legal bases are performance of a contract, legal obligations, our legitimate interest in secure and effective services and, where necessary, consent.
4. Retention
We retain data no longer than necessary. Contact and demo requests are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless an agreement is concluded or longer retention is necessary. Administrative and tax records are retained for the statutory period. Technical and security logs are retained for the shortest period appropriate to their purpose and the agreed service.
5. Service providers and international transfers
We only share data when required for our services, legal obligations or security. Providers may include hosting, email, forms, analytics, payments, support and IT services. We enter into appropriate processor arrangements. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we use a valid transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.
6. Parkingware as a processor for customers
Where Parkingware processes personal data through SPARC or a connected service on behalf of a customer, the customer is generally the controller and Parkingware is the processor. The customer determines the purpose, permitted data, retention and access rights, and is responsible for a valid legal basis, information to data subjects and the accuracy of supplied data.
Parkingware processes such data only under the agreement and documented instructions, applies appropriate security measures and does not use it for incompatible purposes of its own. The specific data processing agreement and service agreement take precedence.
7. Technical dependencies and liability
SPARC may depend on facilities and systems not controlled by Parkingware, including local power, internet, networks, on-site hardware, Topdesk or other customer and third-party systems, domain and email settings and customer-supplied data.
To the extent permitted by law and within the agreed contractual scope, Parkingware is not responsible for disruption, data loss, inaccurate results or damage primarily caused by these external facilities, inaccurate or incomplete instructions or data, unauthorised changes or work carried out outside Parkingware. Parkingware remains responsible for its own GDPR obligations and attributable failures. This limitation does not apply where exclusion is prohibited by law, including intent or deliberate recklessness. Contractual terms and agreed SLAs remain leading.
8. Cookies
Functional cookies may be used to operate and secure the website. Analytics or marketing cookies are only used where legally permitted and, where required, after consent. Choices can be changed through the website’s cookie settings or browser.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. Contact info@parkingware.com. We may request information to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in your country.
10. Security, changes and contact
We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. This statement may be updated when services or legislation change. The current version is published here. Privacy questions can be sent to info@parkingware.com.
