Many EV drivers leave their car at an airport car park for several days. In theory, this is an ideal opportunity to charge. In practice, what travellers need most is often missing: certainty.
Not just a charging point, but a promise
Customers want to know that their vehicle will be sufficiently charged when they return. This requires a different approach from charging at full power immediately after connection.
- schedule charging according to length of stay;
- prioritise vehicles by departure time;
- use existing grid capacity more efficiently;
- make smart use of local solar energy;
- record the desired charge level in advance.
